Så här blir du fadder.

Baylie den fina fadderhunden som lever i friheten
utanför hägnet.
Utan koppel eller halsband har han med tiden blivit La
Higueras maskot och vakthund som alltid talar om för
Julie om det kommer en ovälkommen gäst.
Han har med tiden blivit lite som en polis på nätterna.
Kommer någon ovälkommen gäst skäller han och väcker
Julie så inget ont ska hända hundarna och Julie.
För tillfället i denna regnperiod så har trogna Bailey
flyttat inomhus på nätterna men när morgonen gryr ska
han genast ut och kolla sina domäner.
Så för Julie och Bailey skull så kommer han att stanna
kvar på la Higuera
Skulle gärna vilja adoptera honom själv men kan inte ge
honom denna frihet.

Bailey, den fria och glada hunden.
Denna
BAILEY, the free and happy dog – this Summer he was
beaten by my
neighbors; of course I have no proof, but his frightened
behavior, not
going close to them anymore is a sign of this gratuitous
and foul
act….taking revenge on me with an animal. Ingvor has
brought his
collar but refused it…..His house, donations from
Ingvor? He prefers
to sleep in a dog's traveling box….The Vet had to come
three times to
treat him because "Sir" will not get into a car….Vets,
antibiotics,etc….78€. I have to have him tested….My
neighbors try to
pass him off as a monster, of course by everyone who
comes out of
their door, frightening him; he received stones thrown
at him from
their lodgers of these Swedes….ask Ingvor, she knows
Bailey's history
very well……
I present myself….Bailey, cross of?
Four years ago, a Hippy brought me, with my brothers and
sisters, in a carton to Julie….they were adopted, but I
didn't…..I prefer to stay here! I have the great
pleasure to say that I am the "Dog of La Higuera", I
live outside…I live free, isn't that marvelous….free…I
adore Julie, I wait for her….all day long, as soon as
she leaves I am there at the door….when I hear the noise
of her car coming up the hill, I run to welcome
her…..and I am there, very close to her when she gets
out of her car…..
When at night the thieves of dogs come, I warn, I bark
and bark until the lights come on…and I go in hiding…I
don't want to be taken by them….yes, they try to rob the
dogs for "dog-fights" in Motril…but that has never
occurred at La Higuera….."they" know, I am there and
also a surveillance camera!
I was reserved one day, but Julie didn't want to let me
go……how happy I was to stay here! I am the "Dog of La
Higuera", I am Julie's Body Guard …….

PS.- Oh, I forgot…I also love very much a lady from
Sweden…she always comes with arms full of goodies for me
first….then the others! I love Ingvor, she is part of
the people that I love to welcome……
