This year, I should like to present to you my deserted friends, who live for months...sometimes years ....how should I say...their pain? no, the fate of having been born dogs in Spain....
They are all adorable, sweet, and for them Christmas will be a handful of dogfood and a piece of  dry bread....very good for the teeth they say here!
Each one will tell you his story with a few sobs in his or her voice , each one is unique, each one will fill you with the wonder of love and the desire TO FIND YOU!
I have chosen,  at random, terrible and sad stories, to make you weep, read in a marvellous Forum, which really helps, and that is to save  lives  "Animales Sin Hogar" (Homeless Animals). I am a member and I take the opportunity to pay homage to all of these volunteers who travel all over Spain searching for URGENT cases and try to get them adopted. Thanks to a exemplary pugnacity....in order to keep an animal from being sacrificed,
they go as far as filling their own houses with 7, 10...even 14 dogs.
Look out for them, they are there, near you, listen to them, think of them, try to understand them and maybe you will open your door to them so they can wait, secure, for a family which will fulfilll all their  hopes......
I am happy to share with you my joy at the idea of helping all of these poor unfortunate ones at this time of the year of family togetherness and human warmth.
