THE YEAR 2004

2004 was:

The adoption of 143 dogs in Sweden,

The cerberus of christmas decoration.

The disappearance of Harald in Stockholm but, fortunately, found 48 hours later;
The fire in the hills surrounding "La Higuera"; It was, alas, the sinister poisoning of 6 of my dogs;

and it was also and , finally, the purchase by Emilio Varella, a member of our association, of 15.000sqms of land destined for the construction of the new refuge "Cantalobo".

It was also the extreme sadness of losing little Léon, Abel, Flavio and Bim the martyr who, on the eve of his departure for England, was torn to pieces by two Rottweilers under the eyes of his helpless mistress.

Our hats off to our two Webmasters of the Year, Sarah and Johan who, in 2004, enabled you to discover the treasures of "La Higuera".

A merry Christmas to all and your families and, of course, to your Animals.
