Andrew has sent me the photos of Dodger…the day when he arrived at Noah's Ark Animal Rescue….. He was found hanging from a tree and a Volunteer of the Center by chance found him and cut him down, but the damages were done……

 

I know the savagery, the lack of culture, of sensitivity, of barbarism of the assassins that are the Galgeros…but every time when I see these photos, again and again, it is unbelievable to me. I would like to catch the authorities…..lodge complaints….scream and cry.

My only recourse is to write, to fight for them….to submit you and, finally, to ask you to help them….that's all, but it is also a lot, it is a beginning….but will I, will we see the end one day!

Poor Galgos, poor sweet Galgos, with such loving eyes, your majestic appearance, your ancestral kindness, your love of humans….but what have you done to deserve this punishment???

I really don't know what else is needed for the Spanish Government of Mr. Zapatero to FINALLY do something….to finally understand that Spain is part of Europe…. and that enough is enough of all of this corporal cruelty!

Here I am told….be careful, Julie, Galgos are not to be touched….too much financial interest in the game….but it is not Julie who will yield to this type of blackmail….I continue my pursuit, my investigations…but here in this region there are very few Galgos for hunting….they are mainly in Extramadura, around Cordoba and Sevilla …..so I am in contact with other Organizations and we fight as hard as we are able to…..

But of what are the Galgeros made of….I have never been able to meet one….but that will come….

I depict them as blood-thirsty beings…..perverts enjoying the show they offer to see a poor animal struggling at the end of a rope until death occurs….
